Amazing anatomy
There is so much stunning facts about the body and anatomy on the net, that I decided to start a facebook page in order to compile and share my precious findings. i am quite keen on images, which tend to explain a lot, in a very immediate way.
Below is a painting I found on 'Anatomy in Motion'. Sadly, i could not see the name of the artist anywhere.

Dance course at Unity studio
![]() |
| Dancing from within |
A seven weeks dance course
Every Monday evening
7.30 to 9.00
At Unity studio,
130a Lewes road, Brighton
£52.50/£45.50 (conc)
drop-in possible (£8) subject to availability
Starting on the 5th of November
Past and current participants have reported an obvious increase in well being after class, comparing it to having received a therapeutic treatment “but more fun and cheaper”.
Every week, you will walk away with a short exercise to practise at home, should you wish to do so. Expect to gradually build up strength and flexibility (particularly if you practise the exercises between sessions)
These classes are absolutely suitable for beginners but also for anyone interested in deepening their embodiment. The rhythm is gentle and there is plenty of time to stay with your body sensations.

Dance and Craniosacral Therapy.
Autumnal greetings to all readers!
As the temperatures are getting fresher and the air wetter, I am finding it more and more relevantly beneficial, to tune into my physical self and connect with the warm glow of whatever amount of health and comfort I can observe inside. As I appreciate them, these places of warmth seem to respond and spread, easing aches and restrictions along the way. Then, I am ready to start hoping and flowing about (in quite a safe and structured manner) to inspiring music, generating more heat in the process.
If you wish to join me, please do come to the Hanover centre, upstairs, every Wed morning (apart from school holidays), at 9.30 (until 10.45). The damage is £7 or £5 if you are broke.
I am delighted to announce a new Monday evening dance course, starting on the 5th of November, at the cosy Unity studio, 130a Lewes road - roughly opposite the big Sainsbury, a few doors down from the Gladstone pub: the lovely inside of the place, makes up for its not so glamorous location. Please check, http://being-in-unity.com/unity-studio, for more details; or come back to this blog in a week or so.
Last but not least, financial times being challenging, I have started running a low cost craniosacral clinic with two of my colleagues in Lewes, every Monday afternoons. The 'muma baby sanctuary', is a beautifully decorated (think wood, pink, gold...) and warmly welcoming centre, situated in Cliffe High street. http://mumababysanctuary.co.uk/
£25 a session. Daddies and none parents are also, more than welcome.
To book a session, call me on 07 790 790 014
In order to infuse motivation, I also want to share my conviction that all of the above type of activities (art and healing related activities) are not luxuries.
Life can be harsh, and we need to nourish our hearts and grow a livelier relationship to Health. Then our spirit can express itself more clearly and we can get closer to our own true, individual and unique originality; and grow our capacity for being alive.
We can then embrace the music and waltz elegantly with it, rather than let it toss us around clumsily.

Come and dance with me
I am currently running a drop in dance class, upstairs at the Hanover centre, on wednesday mornings from 9.30 to 10.30. £7/£5 (no proof of concession required. pay £5, if you can't afford £7)
If you want to spend time just for you, with a focus on your body, this is the place and time to do it.
At the moment, sessions usually start in stillness, with a moment to listen to the body's live anatomy and explore sensations.
Expect to learn new ways of moving and engage muscles groups that you may had forgotten about. It would be lovely to dance in your company.
No class on the 08th 0f August and 15th of August. Starting again on the 22nd.

At the moment, sessions usually start in stillness, with a moment to listen to the body's live anatomy and explore sensations.
It then moves onto learning and exploring basic contemporary
dance movement vocabulary; and usually finishes with the development of a dance
routine.
The class is gently paced, but aims at offering small
challenges to the participants, so something new is learned each week.
Eva Daurios, is passionate about sharing her love and
enjoyment of moving. She knows that anyone can dance and have fun doing so. She
holds a Ba in Dance, is a qualified Craniosacral therapist and is fully
insured.
No class on the 08th 0f August and 15th of August. Starting again on the 22nd.
